Re: Puck The Fro Bowl!
They have already done away with the Pro Bowl. The "game" being played today is literally a flag game. The whole weekend is for nothing other than recognition. The game was a joke anyway. The flag game is likely to be more competitive, to be honest.

The Pro Bowl is a joke. It has been for quite some time. I understand the concern for injuries but it is just unwatchable now. I remember a few years back one running back was hitting the defense like bowling pins and they did not take it lightly. The rest of the game was actually more interesting.

It sounds to me like several of you are unaware that they have already discontinued the Pro Bowl. They agreed with y'all. That's why it wasn't played this year.

Re: Puck The Fro Bowl!
No, they had three separate flag games with each of the three different QB's in each. I actually watched and they were truly more competitive than the old tackle games. The points earned by winning in each of the separate the flag games simply counted toward the total with all of the other competitions that eventually determined the winners. Yes, they carried more weight, but they weren't watered down NFL ball. They had to play by official flag rules which are dramatically different than conventional football.

Re: Puck The Fro Bowl!
I SIRIUSLY hope the "casual fan" who happened to see "The NFL Is On Today" and tuned in to this sham didn't believe 'This is the NFL everyone gets all excited about?" Since official flag rules are Dramatically different than conventional football, the winning teams were given "Golden Emmy Oscar Globe" awards!! The world would have been better off "If What Happened In Vegas, Had Indeed Stayed There"
