I think 2018 was the best team and we were clearly the best team in the league. Damn refs screwed us.

I know this wasn't one of the options however my uncle/dad would argue that the 1992 (#1 overall defense) Saints team :bng:.

If only the Cowboys and Niners weren't "dynasties" back then :disgust:...

The 2011 team to this day pisses me off.

They got hot at just the right time, think we won 9 straight and were unbeaten at home.
The final few home games they scored 40+ points in a row.

Then they turned the ball over 5 times Vs the 9ers and still should have won.

The D really **** the bed in the 4th quarter, Malcolm Jenkins getting beaten for a long completion on 3rd or 4th down makes me sick to this day.

The 2018 team, the D was incredible but Drew was really holding the offense back when we got into the playoffs. The reason the Rams game was even close was because our entire playbook was flare pass to Kamara or Slant to Thomas.

09 team had it all, even the luck that it takes in certain situations.

It's hard not to pick the 2009 team. Great offense. Average defense that was opportunistic with interceptions and fumble recoveries. And most importantly, that team won the Superbowl.
The 2011 team had an offense like I'd never seen. It was as if they could score at will. The Niners were plain mean in the playoff game that ended the Saints season that year.
The 2018 team seemed to be the most complete team, in my opinion. I still don't want to talk about the playoff game against the Rams-- it was so egregious.

I remember Harper being the worst player on the field in that game. It might've been Gregg Williams putting him in bad situations but if I recall,
the big TE receptions and the Smith QB TD run were on Harper.

Taking PT out with the helmet to helmet hit really set the tone and crippled the Saints that day. (Why did the refs let Whitner take a head shot like that and not penalize him?)

So the TD to Vernon Davis was between Shanle and Harper, but the long conversion to Davis for about 50 yards on 3rd or 4th down was against Jenkins. Literally they just had to hold them for that one play and we'd win.

I would post the video but I don't want to vomit lol

And yeah the helmet hit on PT was BS, they just let him get away with it and they called it "tough defense"

Edit - just watched it, nearly vomited.

9ers at their own 30 yard line, with 40 seconds to go on 2nd and 10.
Man coverage by Jenkins against Davis, Jenkins gets beat and eventually tackles Davis at Our 15 yard line.

Besides 09, this team has not been able to finish playoff games. They just collapse under pressure.

If you put the ‘09 Brees on the 2018 team then that’s the best one.
