2022 is looking good. I know.. can't win them all. Hope springs eternal.

This will be in reality the first draft sans SP influence. Let's see what unfolds.

Notice that we have made EIGHT 1st round selections over the last seven years. Interesting, huh?

I went heavy on the trenches

O'Cyrus Torrence G
Adebawore DE
Jalin Hyatt WR
Tajae Spears RB
Andrew Vorhees G

Package a couple of late picks and one of next years comp picks to move up for a mid round DT

In the scheme of NFL drafting that's a pretty strong average.

I predict our 1st and/or 2nd round picks for 2024 will be traded away because Loomis has no patience or strategy and the teams that get those picks will be very pleased with their position in 2024.

I will not be upset if we draft Torrence with our first pick. He held his own against Jalen Carter. He’s gonna be a beast.

Here’s my final picks for the first 3 rounds:

DE Myles Murphy, Clemson

Let's bring him home (born in Hammond) :bng:!

I wasn't aware that he started his collegiate career at USL & started as a true freshman.

IMO he's the best guard in this entire draft class.

Most of us here know that you can't count on Andrus Peat to play a full season anyways . Find his replacement.

Oh.... is this how Davenport happened? :bng:
