Re: Official 2023 Saints Draft Thread

I think we go Special K from Tech or Branch or Porter at CB. I think we wait until later to pick TE maybe the 3rd, but we could get best RB or either Levis or Hooker if available! QB out of UCLA later in the draft if we don’t get one before then!

If any combination of Washington(TE), White(DE), Avila(G), Torrence(G), or Branch(S) are there at 40, that would be a very difficult choice to make if I’m GM

Good thing they have already got that figured out. If you had spent the past few weeks drilling down on all of those players and hashed through it all with your expansive staff your choice come tonight would probably be pretty easy, too.

Then again, the plan may not be to wait until #40 if one of those, or someone else, is their primary target.

I just hope they get whomever it is they want!

Re: Official 2023 Saints Draft Thread

So, round 2 starts at 7:00 (here). Seven minutes per pick. We pick 9th, so that’s 63 minutes. Add a few more minutes for the NFL dog and pony show…that means we should have our guy in about 2 1/2 hours. I’ll check in around then (not that anyone cares &#129322.

Nice.

IIRC, you nailed the Bresee pre-draft pick as well (76' called it).

Yep, it's time to find Peat's replacement in the 2023 draft.

Him and Penning on the left side of the line just sounds down right dirty. No nonsense just run people over and grind them down. Kamara and Williams would have a field day running behind them

The best G and S still are available. My best guess would be going to a G at 40. We need to think of the future there.
There's a
good chance that the players at a position of need will be available throughout the draft.

I'd like to see us draft O'Cyrus Torrence or Steve Avila in the second round and take best available RB in the third round then trade back into the third for the best TE on the board. Or vice versa.
