Butterflies
I'm getting major butterflies before the draft intensely reading and watching everything regarding the Saints while waiting for Thursday night. Even though it's a late pick, I still have high enthusiasm about walking away with an impact player from the first round to fill one of our many needs.
To be honest, it's getting tough to sleep with my mind racing about the draft prospects and their potential fit with the Saints. I can't remember if I've ever been this informed and excited about a draft before. Nonetheless, Hagan shared valuable information for the board for years and I miss him every time the draft comes rolling around. I've boycotted the NFL recently, but this year I invested heavily in Saints gear for my car, yard, and clothing. Most of my rugby gear has been replaced by Saints gear now. I've been wearing my Saints gear every day for a week now. Who Dat! Is anybody else feeling anxious? |

Re: Butterflies
I’m a little bummed. Was going to my friend’s house for a poker game/draft party but he cancelled this morning. I’ll be checking in from home I guess.
As far as impact, I predict our #40 pick (if not traded) will be more “exciting” than the first round pick. That’s because we will get a lineman with 25, but with #40 we will get our TE of the future. Our next Jimmy Graham! |

Follow NOF, AFR, OTB and several other podcast and media. The consensus seems unanimous that Saints know what their needs are, who they want and will do whatever they can to get those players. If they like 1 player who they think can’t have an immediate impact and have the draft capital to move up and insure they get that player, know they will not hesitate. Also sure there will be a surprise or 2 and can’t wait to see the UDFA’s that no one is talking about or even knows about that Ireland and Loomis sign. Also expect another veteran or 2 to be signed after the draft. 🤗 |

Re: Butterflies
No butterflies. Just curious to see how it turns out. As usual, I'm not familiar with any of the available players and really don't learn about them until after we draft them, or sign them via UFDA.
I'll be watching our picks, however, and will be excited about the possibilities with all of them. |
