I'm really surprised that the Colts get the screw job of traveling over the Saints. It's tough on a team to travel that distance then turn around and play again the next week. Not to mention losing the benefits of a home game.

Packers players and coaches probably aren't very happy about it. There was a current player being interviewed on NFL Radio the other day and the questioner, a former coach, said that he already knows the answer but, "What do you think about primetime games?" The player said that there's a "love/hate relationship" with them. The TV fans love them, but players, coaches, and most fans that attend the games hate them. Gotta say I agree. I'm hoping like hell that tonight we don't see any primetime home games on the schedule.

I always thought that prime time games were desirable. Mostly because we were winning most of those prime time games with Drew. When the Saints go marching this season the NFL will take notice and we'll be back on prime time more often next season.

Prime time gives me a good day of prepping for the game and wearing my Saints gear with pride.

I like primetime away games. It's the home games that suck if you are an out of town ticket holder. My wife doesn't want to spend a vacation day, or two, to travel to and from the game so I have that five hour drive alone there and back. I know players, for the most part, hate night games because it takes them out of their routines.

Well, league screwed us in some ways. No cold weather outdoor games is good. But we have back to back road games 4 times and only back to back home games once (three game run of home games). Hard to get in a rhythm when you are flying every other week.

On point... What seems an easier schedule actually is a bit more difficult than at first glance . Still, you have to play the games to have a chance to win. No excuses this year...

We dodge SF, DAL, PHI and SEA all in one season with no trip overseas. A reasonable Bye week draw. No excuses to be found this season.

I guess every NFL team produced a video to announce their schedule this year. Not sure this is a new phenomenon or not but it’s the first I’ve heard of it. I heard on the radio that the Titans was pretty dang good so I decided to give it a watch. I gave it credit… It’s better than the Saints. Hope there’s nothing wrong with it but here’s a link for anybody interested.
