Speaking of the Jets being a Saints' farm team.

You have to cover all the bases in today's world. But having good football people who can recognize talent in guys like Shaheed, who may not check all the boxes from a numbers perspective,, is what's most important.

Hopefully this guy was not Zach Wilson’s #1 cheerleader. It would take a ton of research to guess if he is good or bad.

We should do analytics on our team doctors. Billy Beane inventing moneyball by finding players who could get walks, we need to find doctors who can make our players able to walk.

So true Cruize! The RAS is good but not perfect. Look at our string of defensive end misses like Peat, Turner, and Davenport for proof that the system has too many misses. When we take a chance on players later in the draft who fall out side the parameters we still have a solid success rate. It is good when the GM is also good at talent evaluation but that isn't Loomis' strength. Accounting is where he excels. The more options we have to evaluate players the better. You gotta' stay up with/ahead of the times and trends. I don't know if this guy is any good but at least we're trying hard to stay up to date with the latest analysis.

He may like Zach Wilson's choices for MILFs.

She's tired of the media taking pictures already though. Too bad. She's easy on the eyes.

I think that his job will have a lot to do with when to go for it on fourth down and figuring out the odds of a play working. Not necessarily, player analytics. DA is not known for his aggressive approach but he is calculated, so this may be right up his alley.

Re: Saints Hire Director of Analytics from Jets

Who knows? Zach Stuart could give DA a format to follow for when to take a gamble. DA is the kind of coach that likes statistics and will integrate the system into his play calling, since he doesn't like to take anything besides a calculated risk, unlike Payton, who is known as a gambler. Ambush is a prime example of gambling at it's finest. Maybe this will give DA some courage to go for it a little more often and his sack will finally drop.

It's ok to gamble. But, winners take calculated risks and play the odds when they are in their favor. DA hasn't shown himself to be a good gambler yet. But he does love his analytics. So, hopefully this helps us close out some close games. Maybe. Just Maybe. This will help him learn when to be more aggressive.
