I’m truly surprised it’s still a topic of conversation and that people feel so strongly about it. So many perspectives. I see why many of us can’t get on the same page in general.
He certainly has handled himself well post the incident. He is saying the right things and appears contrite. But just for argument sake, here are a few things to consider in regards as to why people are on different pages with his issue. Let’s say that a person is satisfied with what Kamara has done after the legal ruling and comfortable with the price he has paid.

Is it so hard to understand that some other people may think one or more of these things:

He is only acting sorry and saying the “right” things because he has millions of dollars at stake. His actions and what he said about them afterward show his true nature.

Any person who has ever been violently assaulted and hospitalized unlawfully themselves would be much more sensitive to this issue, and therefore unwilling to forgive him for his actions.

Any person who has ever done something similar to Kamara (gotten into a bar fight let’s say) probably spent several months in jail. They see the unfairness of a rich person, getting away with a crime that a poor person would not.

In my mind these are all valid reasons why someone would have negative feelings about him. Just food for thought.
