It’s truly on the opposite end of the spectrum in regards to perspective on the situation. As far as him getting off easy because he’s an athlete, I’m not really bothered by that either. At that point it would just be jealousy on my part. We all know the rules change depending on socioeconomic status, race, gender, sexual orientation, etc. The court decisions involving athletes is at the very bottom of my equality/equity totem pole.

I will say boxing is probably my second favorite sport or at least tied with basketball. Kamara didn’t cross the line for me. The curb stomp was unnecessary. The bragging afterwards is typical male, machismo.

Not much. But a little differently. I still think he's a great player and team mate. Let's remember that the team also had to pay for his indiscretions by bringing in another player to cover his snaps while he is on suspension. Oh well, it's history and the future looks bright. ![]() |

Also, I totally agree bout forcing the Saints to pay attention to the running back room. AK is probably playing on his last contract with the Saints. I know he wants to retire a Saint like Cam but I don't see it happening. He's too expensive. |

Kamara was put into a stressful, non-life threatening (probably not even injury threatening considering it was 5 or 6 to one) situation and he chose to resort to excessive violence. A person who would be part of that is more likely to have an issue with domestic violence than a person who would have used restraint. |
