I'm sure that the league will come around to installing grass soon before there are more injuries. Because the players health is the NFL's main focus.

Just an FYI...
Of the leagues 22 soccer specific stadiums, 18 play on grass, 3 play on a hybrid, 1 plays on Field Turf. This would mainly affects teams using NFL stadiums. |

Re: Will A Pro Soccer Player Force The NFL & RG's Hand?
It may seem I’ve made some comments against Lutz and I’d like to clarify. I hope nothing more than he reverts back to the kicker he was a few years back (pre-injury). I’d love for him to stay on the team and earn his money. However, that puts him along the lines of Thomas and other players, we are hoping can play a healthy season. It also would be nice if a younger, healthier, less expensive kicker, came along and clearly outperform him and becomes our next kicker of the future. A guy like Koo in Atlanta can go along way to winning you an extra two or three ball games.
What wouldn’t be nice would be another year of sub-par kicking-both place kicker and punter. Special teams need to step up if the team is going to win. |
