Looks like the coaches are kicking the tires on Kareem Hunt. RB depth with the suspension looming looks to be a priority.

The caveat is if you sign a vet prior to game one that vet is guaranteed 17 paychecks. Otherwise, the team is only committed to a game by game obligation.

Lol, I hear you. I think we end up carrying 4 (1 on ps) RBs. It appears AK may be used more as a receiver this season.

As far as LB depth goes, I thought the resident "experts" said we are good there. We lose Demario, we are in trouble.

Noticed the Eagles signed both Cunningham and Jack? They understand good depth.

At least L.D.Bell (Dennis) is trying though bringing in experienced guys this off season.

They knew that when they asked to talk with him. We have over $12 million in cap space and can structure a workable deal easily above vet minimum on average. Not necessarily wanting that myself, but can see it happening.

Hard pass for me. Williams is proven and can carry the load. We have a soils rookie backup and two fillers behind him. Unless they plan on trading AK now that teams know how long he’s going to miss.

Not sure it's a fair comparison. Reggie and Pierre, OK. Deuce had one foot in retirement. Bell and Hamilton...meh.

We're deep at RB because we're 11 practices into training camp.

Not so sure about that. He's been spelling Nick Chubb and hasn't really been in a significant role in Cleveland for years. I wouldn't say he's been 'horrible'.

As far as the locker room, what are you expecting to see in the locker room? Impact on the team's performance are often grossly overstated. He hasn't had any negative press as far as being a good teammate that I can recall reading and his off field issues seem to be a thing of the past. Unless I'm missing something...:confused:

He’s a good receiver out of the backfield as well. He’d do a good job filling AK’s role while he’s out.

So true here. From my understanding, Hunt hasn't racked up as many miles vs some of the other RBs his age.

17 games + the possibility of post season is an absolute grind at this level.
