I guess when one examines it, very few QBs are successful in the pros after a stellar college career. The school where they played does not really translate into instant success as we make it to be. It's what's in between the ears that differentiates the talent at the pro level . Everybody is talented in the Pros. Some may get by on their athleticism for a bit, but eventually the little gray cells matter. |

Did you see the game or highlights of his pre season game vs the Ravens? That sack for a 20+ yard loss? Or the 1 of 4 attemps @ 11 yards? Zero pocket awareness. He's bad bad. If not careful, he may lose his #3 spot to Tanner Mckee (currently the #4). Like one Philly announcer stated, "he's a lost cause". The Saints scouting swung and missed hard with Ian. Not NFL material. |
Re: NFL Network TNF Thread
It’s not necessarily a statement about what the D will be like this year, but I’d say by most standards (maybe not turnovers) we were a top 5 d at the end of last year. The first few games were tough but in the second half of the season they were playing as good as anybody else out there. Lattimore’s return was a big boost.
