If a player is still learning, you can excuse miscues as they grow but he looks bored and dejected out there. Something that absolutely won't be excused is poor effort and I hope DA is making sure of that. An example, I know Junior Galette ended here on very bad terms, but can anyone remember him in Preseason as a rookie? He literally never stopped running, going after QB's, chasing bubble screens, chasing ball carriers. And it showed, because come gameday in 2013, if Cam didn't get you, Galette did. Foskey really needs to step up, at this stage, Lalos definitely deserves a roster spot over Foskey. Almost like the Pierre Thomas / Antonio Pittman preseason. |
