LIGHT Helmets are in the NFL now, and the Saints are one of 14 teams who will be the first to trial and test it.

It looks like a rugby scrum cap with plastic on the outside. Their design does seem to factor in different cushion designs. Same principle though.

Great thing that the research in new safer helmets is continuing. Any injurie sto the head that can be avoided is great. And if it works for the pros well see it in college and highschool soon enough.
