The Division

this is a discussion within the Saints Community Forum; Hey, we went 2-4 in division last year. I don’t care what the talking heads say about how weak the South is, our “worst” team had seven wins last year. There’s not an easy win there....

Honestly, I always use that buzzard as my description of Collinsworth and folks look at me as I have a third eye in my forehead. Thank you for letting me know I am still sane.

Shhh ... don't tell that to Jeff Duncan.

He has the Saints LOSING to the Panthers in week #2.

Guess we're about to find out .

Re: The Division

Last year we dropped a couple in the division when we should have won them. Don't let history repeat itself.

No way this team is ready for a Super Bowl. I can see us maybe winning a playoff game at best. I’m fine with that considering the youth and draft capital we have next year.
Also Guido sucks goat chode
If the Failures O line is half way decent, Bijon Robinson will be trouble. Not to mention Kyle Pitts and Drake London are talented receivers.

Biggest question mark for them will be the play of their QB .. DeRidder.

As for former Saints Calvin Throckmorton, I'm glad he's playing for the Panthers now.

The division may not be a cake walk this year. Our rivals made some good moves too. We have the more complete team than anyone else in the division. Our coaches need to do some serious coaching this year.

Re: The Division

Hoping one of these two teams lose. Wouldn't mind seeing Carolina start out in a 0-2 hole.

Re: The Division

Pretty telling here about the Falcons players respect for their QB,

As a comparison, what do the Cards do?

Re: The Division

IMO it's pretty simple. If Derek Carr plays like he did in 2022 then the division is up for grabs, and the Saints could easily have a 7-10 repeat. If the old Derek Carr shows up then the Saints are likely to win the division.
