I only watch the Saints play football anymore and I don't know the other teams rosters. Who has trade value for us? Who could we trade for? Who is going to be available on the waiver wire? Who will get poached before we can sign them to the practice squad?

I want OLine and maybe a punter. It's a shame that 3Q is untradeable and only has value to us. Shaq won't make it through the waivers.

Not Saints related but I see Smash's favorite RB (Ozigbo) was cut from the Lions today.

How would you feel about Matt Araiza? He is likely the best available punter, I have no idea how the fan base would react to him.

This is true but it doesnt mean we can be careless. We almost lost Shaheed by stashing him on the practice squad. In risk management you have to account for near misses too. The practice squad is useful but if we convince ourselves we can stash anyone we will eventually lose the next Shaheed. I would protect upside. I am not too worried about Krull bc he cant catch but I would not risk losing Perry.

I sure hope we keep Lutz, Grupe looks good but we don't know how he's going to do under pressure. Especially if he gets hit or has to try and stop someone. He's gonna get steamrolled. We kind of know what we have in Lutz.
