They also had fantastically better teams than did Carr with the Raiders. THAT MATTERS.

Archie never won a damn thing ever, except NFL MVP. But I'd call him a great QB.

Sometimes good QB's are on crappy teams, sometimes bad QB's are on good teams.

I think Carr is an above average QB at best, but on a good team that can win some big games for you.

Shaquille O'Neal had more 3 pointers by his third year in the NBA than any player in the league had in their career by the end of the 1978-1979 NBA season. Payton Turner's career sacks total would have led the NFL all time list in 1981. The game has changed. Sometimes you can't compare stats decades apart if the rules were not the same.
