So, you’re claiming having two of your top three running backs out or injured isn’t detrimental to the run game? Interesting viewpoint. Extremely flawed, yet interesting.

Kamara is out. We couldn't really evaluate Miller with no run blocking in preseason other than that he is not great at evading immediate post handoff sacks. At this point I would trust handing off the ball to Taysom Hill more than Miller.

Not ideal, of course, but not crippling. Detrimental, for sure. But to say that the running game can't still be successful isn't carved in stone.

Don't forget we have Jamaal Williams who led the NFL in TD's (17) and rushed for 1066 yards last season. We are not devoid of running talent, including Taysom.

Like I said, it’s a bold prediction IMO. If the offensive is going to step up I’d predict it’s more likely Carr clicking with guys like Olave, JJ, Graham, Kirkwood, Foster and oh yeah, that guy Thomas who you predict will have a bounce-back year.

It gets real on Sunday.

Penning, (LG) .. Peat or Hurst have to win most of those battles.

Tart, Aurty & Simmons (Titans) are LEGIT defensive linemen.

For me, it's all about those battles in the trenches.

This, but it’s also because of the skill player’s ability to make plays (a la Mahomes) when the line breaks down. That’s key because it’s gonna happen at some point in every game. Can we avoid the TOs when that happens now that we’ve moved on from Dalton? Hopefully Carr can make those plays with the weapons at his disposal. Hey, it worked for LA and Stafford, it could work here.
