The Oline and overall run game needs to play better. More screens would be nice. Divisional opponents are never easy. A team we lost to TWICE last year. Week to week league at this level but I like our chances. |

NFC South related …
Just like that, Falcons AND Tampa are 2-0. Saints need to take care of business tomorrow night. |
Re: Week 2 - Saints @ Panthers
Tampa and Atlanta are both better football teams than ours.

Imo, if the offensive line can’t muster up a better performance than last week I might agree with you. But the jury is still out on this team as far as I’m concerned. I think our defense is decent. I think Carr is good but no QB can be super good without protection. Our receivers are good. But we need a running game. |
Re: Week 2 - Saints @ Panthers
There’s way too much football left in the season to worry about who the “better” team is right now.

Re: Week 2 - Saints @ Panthers
The Saints, Atlanta, and Tampa have all looked good this year. We don't know which is best. The Saints spent more 2024 salary cap to win now in 2023 and will be less well positioned to add talent in free agency and retain breakout stars in the upcoming offseason, but for now we will have to wait further for the season to play out to see who is best. The NFC South is 3-0 against the NFC North so its not clear we are an especially weak division at all, though we haven't played the Lions yet and they haven't played Carolina yet.
