Re: Is there a legit immediate impact offensive lineman out there worth trading for?
Would I be stirring the pot more if I told you that the fish is called a Koi?
But seriously, perhaps it's not the talent but where they're being played. I was thinking that Penning would do better (with his bad footwork) as an interior lineman. The problem would be who to move to LT. Speaking of which, Terron Armstead has miraculously recovered from his perrenial injury bug and is a friggin' brick wall for Tua these days.... :brood: |

But, seriously, therein lies the problem. There is a severe shortage of tackles across the whole league. It has become a commonly discussed topic on all nfl platforms. |

In my ideal world we would have structured the end of Armsteads contract and our cap situation so we could tag him, trade him for a little more than a 3rd rounder, and replace him via a trade. But a 3rd was ok. |

We need to sign Taylor Lewan and La’el Collins today. Put Lewan at LT and Collins at LG.

Here's a thought. Try a different blocking scheme. |

This is the type of stuff reasonably available out there right now. Your Lewans and Collins types are going to be holding out for top dollar short term deals.
