Re: DC4's AC Injury

Translation: We will either see a subpar, shell-shocked Carr, and/or a Winston with a whole lotta “deer in the headlights” stare, mostly looking up from the turf. It all boils down to pain (the amount of pain we loyal fans can endure).

Just like last year, we are a woefully out-coached, unprepared team. Maybe a few more years?

WHODAT… Better not be BucsDat.

As you wish it to be is more like it. Ain't no glass half empty for you. It's had the top broken off with the edges to your wrists.

Enjoy. I'll be in the stands celebrating a victory while you'll be looking for something, anything to be upset about.

Who Dat, my friend!!!

:bng:

And now back to our regularly scheduled season.

I don’t have to look for something to be upset about. Our entire staff gets paid big bucks to find it for me. Thanks for making them richer.

See DA is giving Ryan R the day off, which is odd considering he had last Sunday off too..

Ramcyzk and Graham both get every Wednesday off. I get your cynicism, but just pointing that out for some that may not be aware.

Pretty much what Brees did when he suffered the same exact AC injury in 2014.

I get giving Jimmy G the day off when he is like 37. With Ram being a somewhat younger guy, I wonder how common that is, and if its a bad sign to his longevity.

Unfortunately Ram has been getting extra days off for a good while, I don't remember when it started but believe it's been going on for a couple years.

He’s going to play.

Re: DC4's AC Injury

Let Carr hand the ball off to AK and if he can throw him some dump off passes. For some odd reason Winston doesn't have the touch needed to throw the underneath stuff. His balls sail over their head or at their feet.

I really like Winston a whole lot. He's a great team mate but he's too inconsistent for me. He's probably in the wrong system with us running a west coast style offense where we dink and dunk.

Definitely looking like Carr plays and appears he should be as effective as ever.

Yeah I guess we’ll see on Carr.

Be careful though, this Bucs team is dirty AF. I’d rather a lineman HOLD, than allowing a DT/DE take another shot to our QB. He’s been sacked A LOT (11 times in 11 quarters) already.

Keep an eye 👁️ on Devin White.

Devin White always seems to take Kamara out of the game.

Either that or it's how predictable we are on offense.

Maybe Devin White studies film! If you watch a couple of games it's easy to find our tendencies. Heck, I know where we're going most of the time.

Likewise yep, I can call the plays to my wife watching with me, based on formation and personnel.

So what you’re saying is that our OC sucks :p ?

I’d argue Doug Marrone has been worse.

Re: DC4's AC Injury

I’d like to see some calls that account for our poor blocking…maybe some quick slants or seam routs. Some quick swing passes out of the back field. Quick passes off three step drops like the Niners use with Purdy. Don’t have the QB hold it long if we can’t hold a pocket. You can still throw deep on quick drops.

I’ve been crying for the bubble screens since the season started. RPO’s man…RPO’s.

When the line is; 1) trying to gel, grow and/or find itself
2) just can't protect the QB

It is necessary to release the ball to an outlet. Carr stands in there and takes a sack as if he doesn't try to evade it. I think if he starts against TB we should go for a couple of long ones and loosen 'em up a bit.

I’d throw it deep against 1 on 1 coverage every time I see it. We have the athletes.

Re: DC4's AC Injury

Pete Carmichael is running a very similar RPO concept. The QB is asked to hold the ball behind our porous line while all his options execute a chip and then wait for their routes to develop until his only two options are to get the runs or piss his pants. Its called the Runs Piss Option and Carmichael and Marrone can be credited with inventing it. We also execute a lot of screens. First Carr got executed and then he watched the rest of the game on a screen.
