I’ll say this, I was excited for Carr. I was excited for this team. I am not and I find them hard to watch. Idk if it’s the blocking, play call or what. But this is pathetic.

Re: Saints vs Bucs Game Day Thread

Baker nearly has more TD's this game than an our entire offense does all season

Re: Saints vs Bucs Game Day Thread

Carr has completed 68% of his passes today. I wouldn't call that inaccurate. The problem is the routes. Carmichael has no idea how to keep the chains moving.

Mayfield ... lmao. He had time to bake a cake back there.

Wow, this is embarassing.

Re: Saints vs Bucs Game Day Thread

So before the season I had Derek Carr giving us 2-3 wins. I retract that and give us 6-7 wins. Hopefully Upper management blows this up and faces reality that this coaching staff is not the answer to championship football

Lol I said earlier we wouldn't score 17 points, can't even get a TD

Dline ZERO pressure today ZERO pressure. Cam needs to be moved inside.

Re: Saints vs Bucs Game Day Thread

You can't remove Carmichael's play calling duties. You need to remove all his duties. The team has a defensive head coach. Carmichael is a very senior offensive coordinator. Having someone else call his plays won't change a thing. He has no skill at his position. We cannot have Sean Payton's coffee boy running our offense without Sean Payton behind the curtains. Gayle needs to bite the bullet and spring for postmates to pick up the Starbucks and hire a real offensive coordinator.

I wonder what excuses AG will make this week for this pathetic team. Lol. Should be fun! See you all on the boards!

Dennis needs to go. Which means Carr will cry foul for firing the guy that drafted him. So then I"m sure Carr then wants out. I like Carr. I don't want to give up on him after just 4 games and playing after getting injured 1 week earlier. I thought we might be able to throw this on the shoulders of Kamara and Miller. I haven't even seen Miller today. The Taysom plays seem to get things out sync/rythm sometimes in my opinion. I don't know. I'm just frustrated and spitballing.

Lol can't even get down the field in prevent defense

Dennis looking way worse since our last pathetic loss to Tom Brady’s Bucs. HE HAS GOT TO GO.

Pathetic.

I'm done watching this team and expecting improvement.

Re: Saints vs Bucs Game Day Thread

Dennis and co ain't it.

This team has underperformed so far.

17 possessions and nothing but FGs. It's time to start firing people.

2-2 will quickly turn into a sub .500 team before mid season.

You mean how everyone gave up on Jameis last year?

Jameis is worse... But I am not sure what the answer is. There is no fire, that much I can see.

Give Dennis a few more years… He’ll be the next Lombardi.

Last year when DA took over it was evident in our lackadaisical play that there was no accountability until AK called them out last year. Apparently, there still is no accountability from the coaches and it shows.

Fire everybody, including the Owner. There’s your fire.

Re: Saints vs Bucs Game Day Thread

We are actually lucky Grupe missed that kick last week. Had we started 3-0 I am sure Mickey Loomis and Dennis Allen would have given themselves long term extensions. The premature Ruiz and Granderson deals were a setup to get everyone in the mode of thinking that 'we are doing great, we just need to lock everyone up to secure the future' and then DA and Loomis extensions were the payoff, before we played anyone decent and the wheels came off.

Nah! I love Rita Benson. She's got class! Change the coaches though.

I'd literally fire Carmichael midseason right now. I would take away all his credentials before he left the stadium.

Well that's called a loss I guess.

More fuel for these suckas to wake tf up.

Looking like ****!

I am telling you, I have no doubt this team would improve if we brought in Marv Lewis for the rest of the season. Career .550 coach. Not perfect, but available and clearly much better than DA career .300 coach. Then get Jerry Reese as GM. Draft all oline.

Winston has tunnel vision, that's why he's not starting. Carr is the best we have and I think he's a good QB. Carmichael doesn't understand offensive philosophy and needs to go read Football Offense for Dummies. He has everyone going deep on a 3rd and 4, it makes no sense. He does **** like that so many times during a game. It makes it impossible to develop a rhythm. It's not like Carr is being horribly inaccurate or something. He missed a couple of throws.

K Major 10-01-2023 03:06 PM

Re: Saints vs Bucs Game Day Thread

Carr is an AVERAGE NFL QB.

Everyone's underperforming.

The lack of offense with these "weapons" needs to have someone either fired or demoted.

No excuses for this, especially since the Bucs suck too.

Mayfield sliced us up with no names at RB and WR.

Next week vs Patriots on the road ... probably another L.

Anything… Where’s Herm Edwards? “YOU PLAY TO WIN THE GAME!” LMFAO

With better coaching Derek Carr could be Baker Mayfield for only 6-8x the salary.
