Re: Week Five: Saints @ Patriots
I wasn't even referring to Major's post. I was referring in general to all of the threads and individual posts a saw and read when I made it back in. They can surely be classified as "sky is falling" posts. I simply started my weekly thread and came back and gave on my general take and, I apologize, but replied to the ONLY post in my created thread, referring to everything else I had seen to that point.
Anyway, on to the Patriots! |

Re: Week Five: Saints @ Patriots
FYI, Patiots standout (15 sacks in 2022) pass rusher Matthew Judon will undergo surgery on his torn bicep ... obviously OUT on Sunday.
One less threat we have to worry about coming off the edge. |

If we somehow beat NE by 1-3 points because of their key injures, we better not sign DA to a 10 year $100 million extension based on the 3-2 record. Easy schedules are nice for a bad team to have a chance at making the playoffs, but if you read to much into them and give guys like Ruiz, Granderson, and DA extensions based on the possibility of achieving 9-8 with one, you will likely just get demolished the first round of the playoffs and pay for it for years with all the dumb extensions. Then again, if we lose 26-9 to teams like Tampa we won't be going anywhere even with the weakest schedule perhaps of the decade for any team. |
