I agree with what Loomis was trying to convey. You have to have urgency, but you can't have so much urgency that it causes you to become reckless.

uh...no you brought up the deviated optic.... I was referring to a hole in the ground. Not so sure what you were envisioning.

Being an optimist and a realist are not mutually exclusive. An optimist looks for a positive outcome and a realist understands when those outcomes are totally outside of their own personal control. I realistically know what I can and cannot affect personally and yet I choose to look at things in a positive manner.

I question your reality when it comes to your approach. You are clearly pessimistic, but do you feel you have any control whatsoever on any outcome? If so, you are not realistic. If not, what good does your pessimism and negativity contribute to any success?

I can’t speak for him or anyone else, but when my team continues to stink up the dome, boos go a long way. Outside of the stadium, grown men calling a spade a spade, is REALISM.

After failing to exceed 20 points the first 3 weeks just like us, the Bears scored 28 points in week 4 and 27+ so far in week 5. Did they do this by the GM coming out and publicly guaranteeing everyone's job security? No. It was pretty clear jobs were at risk. If anything the team is letting Loomis, Allen, Carmichael, and Allen down by not setting any expectations. If we want them to shape up, they need to sweat.

uh... no. maybe your obsessions are holes, but i leave that up to you. Afterall, you brought the subject up.... just sayin. I always cheer the Saints winning, but point out poor play, self indulging, and loser attributes.... things you seem to thrive on. just sayin....

...so... now you are a psychiatrist. No Pessimism here, just reality.... I know when my coach rode my ass because of poor play or attitude, things changed on the outcome....as a result, I won Louisiana state championship, 1979 (trust me, i have the documentation and awards to prove)
... can you relate, maybe so,... doubt it. Again... get over yourself and accept this team is NOT performing to what YOU should be expecting ... WINNING... with that.. i take a toke and hope you don't choke...

to the point... we both want the Saints to win... your way is apathy and wishing... mine is expectation and demand; especially when money is involved.... huge difference.
