I'm hoping they move Penning to guard. I think he will help our running game and is more better suited for interior o line. Geaux Saints.

Re: Week Six: Saints @ Texans
I wish there were statistics for offensive lineman that showed how much help they were requiring. When Penning struggled early there was a lot of talk about how they needed to get players to chip the pass rushers to help him. Then Penning seemed to improve. If he improved because he actually got better thats great. If he improved because we got help on every single play and took our running backs and tight ends out of the receiving game in order to give him enough help to look passible, thats not ok. If Kamara has time for 8 yard routes instead of 1 yard routes that would make a big difference for our offense.

We used to have a way of allowing Rookie QB's go crazy on us. We didn't allow Bryce Young to do anything. Let's hope CJ Stroud is kept under control for a win today!

Re: Week Six: Saints @ Texans
I posted something recently showing that the Saints are now 10-2 against rookie Qb's with Dennis Allen's defense, Halo. We are also 16-6 since 2006 against rookie Qb's. I think we've moved past that old "jinx".

Re: Week Six: Saints @ Texans
Nonetheless, rookie QB's haven't consistently owned us in years. Yes, we'll make most rookies play like rookies. It's the good young QB's that stand out against our defense but they tend to do that to everybody else in the league at one point or another.
