NEXT UP… INDY…
If this was the Payton/Brees Team, even at their worst, we could always expect the unexpected. Even the hazardous Haslett/Brooks combination offered thrills on the rollercoaster ride that was a Saints Game.
But this current squad? Meh… What are we going to do about it, and how long will it take before we can be excited again? |

Re: NEXT UP… INDY…
For starters, the Colts are able to score (avg 25 ppg) points in games. Even with a backup QB (Minshew).
Defensively, Zaire Franklin (ranks 1st in NFL total tackles) is a solid LB & is good in coverage. Their secondary is a work in progress though. Can Carr capitalize on this mis match? And the rookie Josh Downs is a legit chain mover. Had a solid showing vs Browns on yesterday. Even though the Colts are currently 3-4, this will be another tough AFC team. FYI, the Saints are 1-2 against AFC south opponents in 2023. We were only able to defeat the last place Titans. |

“Can Carr capitalize on this mis match?” Doubtful. |

Re: NEXT UP… INDY…
I have no faith in this team as is. Something needs to fundamentally change in order to beat teams like the Colts, and they aren't exactly world beaters.
Our O-line is in shambles and our QB can't read a 2nd option. If things don't change this team could implode. |

Expensive Gardner Minshew for the Saints vs Cheap Derek Carr for the Colts. Should be an interesting matchup.

I remember in preseason when I thought that we'd be good this year.....
Oh well, On to Indy for the next set of stale play calls from the coaching staff. |

Re: NEXT UP… INDY…
Las Vegas line opened on Sunday with the Colts (+1 1/2) home underdogs vs New Orleans.
As of today, it's flipped back to Indy (-1) favorite. Definitely a toss up for me. Hopefully we get the super suckage Minshew. |

Re: NEXT UP… INDY…
Minshew can look like an All Pro once in a blue moon. He’s about due for good game. I have zero faith in the team right now. In fact I want our offense to look like a steamy piece of garbage. Hopefully if it’s bad enough it will force change. Might not be too late yet, but another couple weeks of this and we have zero shot of making the playoffs.
