No HOF QB to take up the slack.

The Manning fam would seem like the logical ownership group leaders!

I think because Mick has won an SB Gayle is still blindly trusting him and at this point he is pretty much sitting on his laurels. Complacent, if you will. He's gotten a lot older since then as you all have stated.

He pushes the beans around at the end of each season but before I completely gutted this thing, I would get rid of DA and Pete collectively. I would then tell "The Mick" it's time to get off your laurels and get this train back on track. The 09/10 season was a long damn time ago.

I would try to hang on to the talent we have. See if he can get a fire lit under him again. Only problem with that is, new GM's generally like to pick their coach. So then it drags on longer if he fails in his new HC pick next season.

I guess then you go the Browns and or Texans route. Be done with Mickey, tell the Coach thanks for trying and only one season is lost. Sadly, another season lost. Key players on both sides of the ball older, approaching retirement age and long in the tooth.

And the beat rolls on.

I have to believe that if the Saints ever hit the market that the Manning family would somehow be involved in a purchase.

Loomis is worth $75MM and I’m inclined to believe his history and connections would put him at the head of the line to own the Saints with enough investors behind him.

As far as the Mannings, I’m always apprehensive when it comes to someone good at working in the business being good at working on the business. Just because someone is a damn good cook doesn’t mean they are a damn good restaurant owner. Elway spent 10 years as GM/EVP/P of the Broncos and made little difference to the teams performance.

Seems like Loomis sh** two beds with one decision.

That's not the impression we all have. What's your source for this version?

Post Brees/Payton is leading me to believe our restaurant is left without the right owner and chef!

This team blows.

I can promise you that they would be held accountable for every single mistake they made and that they would put in the effort to study the damn playbook!
