Well that didn't work out. For those dreaming about getting Hunter, that was never going to happen. Hunter's a top 5 player on that team.

Vikings signed Josh Dobbs from AZ.

Re: Jameis to Vikings?

All the Saints beat reporters discredited this person when the initial tweet came out.

Apparently this guy has been making up stuff for years, so was just doing it for the clicks.

If Carr goes down we'll be glad to have him.

Re: Jameis to Vikings?

No one here knows what goes on in the locker room but from what I've seen it appears that Winston took less money to be on this team this past offseason and many of the players seem to like him. It might not be a bad thing to keep him in New Orleans.

Head scratcher for me but WR is probably the least of the Saints concerns. If you were in fact looking to "trade", why not go after a guy in those trenches (Oline) or another DE? Not sure how many are watching but we need more pass rushers.

Rapoport: Raiders, Saints got very close to a Hunter Renfrow trade

That does seem absurd. That might've been a trade idea based on emotions rather than need. From the outside looking in it appears to be the M.O. these days. Hiring DA and Pete Carmichael were likely emotional hirings.

Re: Jameis to Vikings?

Glad we didn't trade our only proven commodity at backup QB.
