Yeah. Harbaugh would be one of my top picks. There is a strong precedent for coaches who came very close to winning it all having good second runs such as Reid, Vermeil, Gruden, and Dungy. Veteran coaches who almost got there have historically been more successful in second stints than ones who already have a ring and aren't as hungry or ones who never showed the spark to even win in their first stint. There are examples of failure too but a rookie coach is a bigger risk. Also I think we would be best off to rebuild next year and if Harbaugh faces some kind of partial year suspension for his college antics in the NFL, that would mesh well with a rebuilding year.

Also, Harbaugh got to the Super Bowl with a mid round pick QB that his regime developed. That is a very positive sign that he can identify and develop a QB without needing to inherit one or mortgage the future for a 'sure thing.'

Harbaugh would want his guys in the front office.

Teaching, scheming and scouting would be better. And accountability from players.

But HC in New Orleans? … it ain’t happening.

Harbaugh can go cheat the system somewhere else. Miss Gayle wants a winner but not that badly.
