I had season tickets for over 20 years. I moved across the country but my dad is still in New Orleans. I moved to Houston after about 10 years as a season ticket holder but my dad was still in New Orleans and I still kept the tickets and I flew or drove in for most of the games. When I moved to California after 4 years in Houston we kept the tickets for some 7 more years and I flew back for games when I could, my dad went to some games, we gave some to friends and family, and we sold some. I was in the dome for the No Call game. After that crushing BS, and having a kid where it got harder to travel, and the Saints struggles that made it harder to sell the tickets to games none of us could attend, we finally decided to drop the tickets. My dad was getting older and often preferred to avoid the cars and traffic and just watch on his big screen, and it was so hard for me to travel much with a young child who had grandparents in 3 different states. It became easier for me to just buy tickets to a game if we visited.

I know what its like to have season tickets. I just didn't wait 15 years for them. I walked up with a credit card when we were talking about drafting Ricky Williams and Ditka was coach. I stayed until Goodell proved it was half rigged anyway. There are a lot of fans whose patience with Dennis Allen may be limited, and at some point if he is the next Ditka, there will be no waiting list and they will be able to walk back up and buy tickets when he is fired.
