Maybe I just wanna see some GOOD FOOTBALL being played by someone wearing a Saints Jersey. #7 fulfills that need.

Fast forward to today, Winston clearly beat Haener for the number 2 job, but with that said if Winston continues to struggle in the number 2 roll, then a switch to Haener for the number 2 job needs to happen.

Back to Hill, considering his age, in the near future I do see the possibility of him being a true number 2 QB and removed from most of the gadget duties.

Remember that in 21 Hill was essentially a ROOKIE at starting QB. He just needs a year under his belt.

Hill is in the top 10 in rushing yards for career and a single season, however. And he did finish in the top 10 in total offense ahead of Steve Young helped out with his rushing numbers

In the For what it's worth department, the Saints currently have BYU'S #1 Jamaal Williams and #6 Taysom Hill (the only QB) all time leading rushers on their roster. Way back in 1973 drafted their #10 career rusher, Pete Van Valkenburg.
