It was obvious to the objective eye that things in his throwing were not what they were. Father Time beats all of us eventually.

What we saw happening at what now seems like a million miles away, the Front Office saw as well… And here we are with Derek Carr.

From the sound of it he could've been on the injury report for his entire Saints tenure!!! What a gamer!

Imagine noticing this from within the organization, changing the offense to suit the diminishing strength in his arm. And then not actively going after someone to learn from / start immediately when he was done.

Poor choices again by this organization to not see this coming.

Late in his career, the man may have lost his deep ball skills, but there was NO ONE who could whip out a ball in a timing pattern like him! We were honored and priveleged to have him in Black & Gold while we did.

Makes the Tom Brady decision even more baffling. He was headed here, then Brees reuped for two more years, same year SP reuped. History has some interesting turns.

Whatever happened to Derek Carr, Pete Carmichael, and Dennis Allen's brains from CTE and dementia is 1000x any problems with Drew Brees shoulder. At least left handed, Brees would see an open receiver.
