Re: OBSERVATIONS FROM THE SAINTS LOSS TO THE LIONS: PRE-GAME EDITION…

I don't know what to think of the Lions game. On the one hand given that we are due for a win, the Lions have been shaky their last few games, and there are rumors there QB is injured we could arguably have a 20-30% shot, not that it would really mean a ton just one fluke game at home.

On the other hand Dennis Allen is 1 for 12 against winning teams with the Saints and completely 0-fer against winning teams with the Raiders so one could argue we only have a 5% chance against the Lions. And then one could look at all our injuries, and that fact that Dennis Allen's only win ever against a winning team came against their a winless backup QB, and and argue we have a less than 5% chance to win.

I can see both sides to it and I don't know if our chance is 5% or 20% but I have the sense its somewhere in that range.

I just want to say that the name of this thread is absolutely hilarious! It made me laugh my ass off and echos the the thoughts that I have going into this game: The Saints have zero chance of winning this game.

I’d love to eat crow after the game, but it’s not happening. Lol

They say that hope is the last thing to go… I’d like to think that it’s a sense of humor. That’s all I got now.

I do.

One team has quality coaching, assistants and the other has substitute teachers and a QB that acts like a petulant child after over throwing his WRs 5 yards out of bounds .

A little levity is the only way to weather the chit storm ... And like Foreverfan used to say: Expect a loss, and if they win, it's a surprise bonus!
We've come full circle from way back, haven't we?

As things stand, we might (unfortunately) do a PRE-SEASON “OBSERVATION OF ANTICIPATED LOSS” Thread. I really wish it wasn’t such a bad joke.

You know you're in trouble when Underhill asks your so called leader at QB about his deficiencies & inability to score in the red zone and Carr's response : .... "You're going to keep asking the same question, and I'm going to keep giving a lot of words and no answer, because I'm not gonna tell ya".

WTF? What QB responds to valid criticsm like that?? This is a result driven business Mr. Carr. It's pretty clear he isn't a problem solver. Just likes to ignore real issues and deflect blame.

I've lost a TON of respect for Derek. Oakland fans were on to something.

I hope Underhill continue to roast his a** in his daily reporting.
