I sympathize with Taylor. Clearly his play in 2022 justified a job as an edge corner. Instead we change his position to nickel corner which pays much less and he has no experience with, even though he played as well as Lattimore or Adebo in preseason, and played better than Adebo last year. Reportedly Adebo was worse at nickel so thats why Adebo got to start at edge. How would a doctor or lawyer feel if they were demoted to nurse or paralegal because their colleague was worse at giving shots or taking notes than them? Alontae has flashed. A lot of times what a more successful franchise would do is see that Adebo and Taylor could both start, Lattimore is expensive and aging, and trade Lattimore while the value is high.

Get a QB and some Linemen in the offseason and get rid of the betaboy coaches.

We have a LOT of talent out there, but it is mismanaged and poorly coached.
The head (coordination/determination) and the heart (motivation) is missing.
It’s BAD COACHING. And we have bad coaching because we have bad management. And we have bad management, because ownership doesn’t “get” the game… unless “the game” is something that the fans aren’t privy to?

This will be a hot topic in the offseason. Lattimore has great value. The thing is, he has a lot of value to me and I don't want to see if happen. Injuries will happen and we will need everyone in the rotation next year for our new coaches.

If we got a true alpha coach who was very demanding of Carr, Carr might break down mentally, quit football, and perhaps check himself into some kind of psych ward with Britney Spears. If that happens, we don't owe him his guaranteed salary for 2024. Seems like thats one positive an in season coaching change could have. Carr is a spoiled brat who needs to go to military school and either shape up or ship out. We could hire the drill Sargent to send him there for the rest of the year.

Just saw that it appears the final play of Denver's game was a pass to that Nick Kroll TE we cut in the preseason. It was a jump ball and Kroll got physically beat and the Texans defender intercepted it.

When you have a very long need list you can't just blow out the credit card to replace everyone. We can't afford two rosters, one of Loomis's mistakes and one of their replacements. We need to get the money for the mistakes off the books and focus on the oline so that the replacements can be protected.
