One thing that Carmichael does that Payton didn't that I do like (it's a VERY short list) is he uses pace and doesn't use all the play clock so often.

Pardon my cynicism but I came to the realization a few years ago that these players don’t really give a $@?! about all this as long as their paycheck doesn’t bounce.

I think we care about the outcomes 100x more than they do. I’m sure there are exceptions, but not 53 of them
