Seventeen years ago Sean Payton and Drew Brees joined this organization and arguably changed its course. Just two years after both have departed and the organization is exactly where it was before they arrived. Nothing was learned, no culture seeded.

We went from a coach that couldn’t be baited by the press to one that will argue with his players in the media.

Our problem seems to stem from the top (ownership) down (coaches/staff/players) and ultimately drops on the fans, who those at the top CLEARLY have little to no concern for. And that’s a big problem.

Agreed. We had all hoped that Dennis Allen would have a better record here in New Orleans as HC than he had in Las Vegas.

And what do ya know… his 5-7 is the best record of his career.

Next year at this time, we might be 6-6… Let him develop.

We should just keep doing what we are doing, hoping that the other 31 teams get worse than we are.

Championship!!

What's even scarier is that by defeating the next two NFL bottom dweller opponents (Panthers, Giants) will save the substitute teachers job.

Putting up a "good fight" against the Lions (#32nd in redzone defense) actually may have already done it .

Sad times ahead for this franchise.

His most recent statement to the media (Katherine Terrell) about Jimmy Graham being "inactive" is a microcsm of what is wrong with Allen and why he will NEVER be even an average NFL head.

Even with this so called "easy" 2023 schedule, we are losing to backup QBs, & having already lost to Tampa AND Atlanta.

Currently a game below .500

He is what he is. A below average HC with an average QB.

And it's a stretch to consider Carr an average QB at this point. Trying to get an accurate pass out of him is like trying to get the government to disclose UFO info.

I honestly don't know what to make of Carr. With Gruden he was above average. With any other coach he's been... sufficient. I don't think he has the "it" factor so since the Saints are stuck with him they need to get a smart, demanding coach that knows how to use the whole team to win.

Re: Clean house now

Just watching the Niners/Eagles game today.

Both of teams (Dallas as well) play on a different level.

Saints are no where close. We got to get real coaching in here
if you want to truly compete with the big boys in Dec/January.

A participation trophy isn’t gonna cut it.
