Still, Derek Carr couldn’t hold a candle to Lamar, Dak, Romo, and others like them. So there’s that.

I wouldn't say he choked. He lost to the new 🐐. No shame in that.

I’d take Lamar and his coaching staff in a heartbeat, to open up next season.

Yup. They lived on the run game all season long and then abandoned it early.

Doesn't this point to proper game planning by the Chiefs? Force LaChoke Jackson to pass ?

Great point, which illustrates the master chess game that the Saints Staff is unable to do properly.

Kansas City didn't do anything to force Jackson to pass. The Ravens abandoned the pass game down only seven points with 10:56 remaining in the 2nd quarter. There was nothing that the Chiefs were doing different defensively that should have mandated this move. Nor was the status of the game such that the Ravens had to hurry things up with the score at 14-7 with almost 41 minutes remaining on the game clock.

This was simply bad playcalling on the part of OC Tod Monken. He's been raked over the coals more than once already on NFL Radio and X (aka Twitter) this morning. Probably catching the same flack elsewhere, too.
