I think the business model is probably ok, regardless of the product they still make Bank. but it is providing very little entertainment value, no doubt. False hope is a fool's Follie for those who take the bait.

I agree that the business model is ok. It's the coaches not getting the right players in the draft and then not developing them that upsets me so. I mean, we're a strong organization from the top down(besides the coaches). I even hear that the janitor is a talkative well informed fella'. Unlike the meat guy down at the meat market.

For those who are wondering (playoffs) ...

As of today, this is how the Saints would "sneak in the back door" :

Win today @ Tampa.
Win next week vs Atlanta.

Then hope the Bucs LOSE to the Panthers in week 17

This is what happens when you don't take care of an "easy" schedule, lose to below avg teams & backup QBs.

But more importantly, you have a guy who has no situational awareness to win games as your HC.
