We definitely need to revisit our draft parameters this offseason. Our D-line dropped ten pounds to get leaner and faster. Now they are getting pushed all over the place. O-line scouting stinks. D-line scouting stinks. Running back scouting stinks. Tight end scouting stinks. And we draft slow LB'ers.

We do well with WR's and DB's though. So, it's kind of a mixed bag of nuts and dog crap. It kind of ruins the whole batch of goodies.

Edit: The RAS is great but it's not the holy grail. It doesn't give you anything but untapped potential. We had a boat load of potential and big busts. No thanks to drafting solely based on the players raw athletic scores. There are too many other variables that are just as important. Like heart. You can't measure heart. You have to study film.

Imo a league wide problem is how draft boards change from pro days to the draft.
It's all good putting up good numbers in shorts and running shoes, but football is t played without pads. Use it to separate close grades. But it's hilarious watching a 4th round pick on tape jump to a late day 1 pick before he runs a great 40, and jumps high

That is some seriously funny stuff right there. :roflmao: The Saints aren't moving and we are hosting a Super bowl in 2025. Sometimes I'm not sure if you're trying to be funny or not.

There is no way that you could really think that a two or possibly three year head coach can single handedly influence a team to relocate. And if anyone mentions San Antonio I'll stop and remember that even fools have opinions........ and I'm not always sure which one I am. So, I'll just laugh at them!

I mean, we survived bad coaching and hurricanes before and we're still the New Orleans Saints!

Let's step back and remember that we have great ownership with deep pockets, a gifted accounting system that gives us tens of millions of dollars on next year's salary cap increase. What we need is leadership in the draft room who value big schools and draft picks.

We also need a new HC, which means we need a new DC too. We are a winning organization and our record in the last twenty years looks pretty damn good. Gimme' a HC with some stones and a game plan and let's roll!

That mapclown guy is seriously disturbed from every indication, Rugs. I wouldn't take anything he says with anything but a fistful of salt.

This Quido guy seems to be a master at taking salted fist-fulls. I’d pay attention to him if you like that kind of thing.

Sometimes he has a constructive productive thought. It's hard to be positive on the board these days. For one thing.....people poke fun at optimists now! However, there really isn't much to be optimistic about right now, to be honest.

Optimism is a state of mind. As part of my optimism I never stress over anything that I myself cannot control.

As for the mapclown, I gave up on seeing any "constructive productive thought" many months ago which prompted his "ignore" status. :D

Once again, YOU, the paying customer, CAN control what your service provider provides, or FAILS to provide, by NOT paying for their services until they correct their policy. Similarly, on a deep energetic level, if you stop cheering on the sucky service, week after week, you send a message to the service provider that you are dissatisfied with the product. The problem is, you are completely satisfied.
