I used to be one of those optimists but this team sure does come across as apathetic. I refuse to believe that Gayle or anyone that is under her employ are serious about winning and will be especially dubious if they keep Dennis Allen and Pete Carmichael.
Yes, I became comfortable when the Saints had an excellent team with Tom Benson, Sean Payton, and Drew Brees. Expecting greatness after their departure is absurd but I'd sure like to see some emotion and accountability from the new kids on the block.

I agree with much of that, but I seriously doubt anyone connected with the Saints, or any other NFL franchise for that matter, aren't serious about winning. We must not confuse ineptitude with lack of commitment.

:D

There is no confusion. Only a combination of ineptitude and a lack of commitment. If they were serious about winning, they would be winning.

If they were serious about winning then they would have changed out Carmichael last year.

Nepotism at its finest!

Our problem is much bigger than Carmichael.

I knew this team was in trouble for 2023 when no one was fired during the bye week. We've become such a passive franchise.

Maybe empty seats in the revamped dome will get someone's attention .

That’s the only thing we have control over, except for Quido. He’ll still be there.

The fact that Loomis blamed a sparse crowd on "economic difficulties" shows how out of touch and ignorant he is.

Any GM worth a damn, would have acknowledged that the fans deserve better and that change is needed to make the product desirable to ticket buyers. But nope, lets blame it on the economy when no one will buy a $5 ticket.

So are you saying that every sub 500 team isn’t serious about winning? I think it’s a little more complicated than just deciding one day, if we decide to be serious we are all of a sudden going to start winning. At least if we clean house, we would at least have hope, where there is currently none, and there’s nothing worse than a lack of hope.

So the economy in Detroit is better than New Orleans? Is that why so many Lions fans were in attendance?
