No Playoffs Again
I root for my Saints as much as the next guy, but once TB won today and it became clear in the late games that Dallas would be the number 2 I was hoping that either Seattle or GB would win and take final spot. I got no problem with the Saints taking a beatdown in the playoffs, but I live here in Dallas area and wanted no part of that beatdown. If we could have played them at our place as a division winner I would have been ok with that, but we would have been embarrassed in Dallas and neither I nor the Cajun Canon could have handled that.
Terrible season and a nice finish. Just frustrating when you start looking back at all the games that should’ve been, including trip to Lambeau that we handed to them on a silver platter. Offense was very disappointing this year, but I’m actually more displeased with the inconsistency of the defense. Needs more youth up front along with speed. Question is who am I rooting for now? |
