Saints need , many needs: maybe more strength at qb, HC and n HC brings his own staff,…..I am way ahead in the worrying….God forbid, but if she “ leaves” who will ____ theSaints…will the team be in N.O…you know what I mean. I cannot even say these exacts words out loud. No one can as if though it has not crossed your mind every football season.
I'm not sure if you were aware, Maid, but Gayle has sworn that the team is not going anywhere else as long as she is living. She has put in place a plan to sell the team to a locally based buyer that agrees to keep the Saints in New Orleans upon her passing. The plan also specifies that all proceeds from that sale will be donated to area charities since she has no heirs. Although, she appears to be in excellent health so we shouldn't have anything to worry about for many years.

Another factor is that the Saints (Gayle) have just spent some $750 million on renovations to the Superdome which pretty much ensures that it will remain in the Super Bowl rotation for many more years to come. That requires the franchise to remain in New Orleans since the "big game" can only be held at the home of a current NFL team.

The only thing lovely lady Gayle hasn’t managed to do, is put a WINNING CHAMPIONSHIP FOOTBALL TEAM together, and probably won’t for as long as $he remain$ in good health. Not that that matters to you.

Re: Would you want Belichick?

It looks like Arthur Smith wants a proven coach leading the Falcons and turning the corner with an experienced proven head coach. Between Belichick, Harbaugh, Raheem Morris, and former Saints coach Joe Brady they have an excellent group of candidates to choose from. Atlanta could be a strong division rival now and that's not something Saints fans are used to seeing.

Incidentally, 28-3 could be their winning record for a couple of seasons if they get their act together and we keep doing what we're doing.

It would suck to see Atlanta take control of the NFC South and to see us having to be in their shadow fighting for a playoff spot like when we controlled the south and they were always chasing us when Payton was here.

What’s even more pathetic is a name on your list. Raheem Morris …

He has 3 less WINS & 8 FEWER losses than the substitute teacher down in NOLA.

It’s completely wild for Loomis to continue believing he has the “right head coach” .

And I think you meant Arthur Blank

If the Saints employ Gruden there's no way they make the playoffs. Goodell will be on the phones to the officials, its be a flag throwing party every game

Better pray Atlanta doesn't hire Harbaugh.

What's even scarier is that Raheem Morris has a HIGHER win percentage (.356) as HC vs Dennis Allen .
