He won with the GOAT and a lot of role players. When Brady left, Bill whiffed on the Bama QB and simply didn't have the talent around him to compensate. The Saints have a good QB and A LOT of talent on the team. Bill would easily win the division and maybe beyond with the current Saints roster.

If you want a team that seeks the desire to WIN... sure BUT unfortunately.... the owner and management side of the Saints want to keep the football team as mediocre..... 2030 is very close....

Another factor is that the Saints (Gayle) have just spent some $750 million on renovations to the Superdome which pretty much ensures that it will remain in the Super Bowl rotation for many more years to come. That requires the franchise to remain in New Orleans since the "big game" can only be held at the home of a current NFL team. |
