Yep.
Excuses is why you’re at home. I’m not here to sugarcoat under performing coaches and players. Especially considering how WEAK the NFC South has been last 2 seasons. |

Question is, what will they do in the off season to overcome objections on offense & special teams? You do a better job of coaching, scouting and preparing your team each and every week. Not sit up on the podium after taking an L & say “we gotta do a better job …” yada, yada, yada . Good teams find solutions, not excuses. The NFL is hard for a reason. A good place to start is the 2024 draft. 2017 was a long time ago & the Saints have a lot of work to do. |

The point is that Ireland had much more ammo to work with in 2017 than he has this year. I fully expect us to find away back into the second round where we usually pick very well. Foskey could still be a good player after getting accustomed to the NFL. He had to adjust to the size and speed of the players, his playbook, and what his responsibilities are. But we must get better in the trenches. |

Copy cat league. Make those 5 picks count. The Saints braintrust need to figure it out this off season & not focus on what they don't have. Contenders do serious work in the off season & solve problems on how to improve & get better so they can compete in late January. |
