this is a discussion within the Saints Community Forum; I'd still like to address the oline in Free Agency. Dalton Risner comes to mind or Mekhi Bekton (former Jet). Or bring back Andrus Peat . He was kicked out to LT last season and played decent....

Love Peat... when he can stay healthy he's solid at LT. But if he's not reliable to start, what do we have?

We've got Nick Saldiveri at either guard position. I'm excited about what the new staff can do to bring both he and Penning along. We've also got second year Mark Evans at guard or tackle that can be lumped in with those that may make a leap this year. Throw in Hurst, Landon Young, and Tommy Kraemer. Not to mention McCoy and Ruiz that can swing to center if needed. I believe what we do in the draft depends heavily on what that new staff believes they can do with what we already have in-house. |
