Not to be disrespectful to you OldMaid, but if he plays for the Evil Empire, I can't like him no matter what.

For all my dislike at what Roger Goodell has done to this league, my hope would be that the San Francisco 49ers NEVER EVER win another single game.

Most of you would say Atlanta is our archnemesis - but I contend it has always been those %#$#% 49ers. Far too many screwings at the hands of those guys in the 80s.

And I will NEVER forget January 14, 2012. May the 49ers franchise rot over that one...

Not a fan of the Niners, but hating on them or any team that we’ve taken a screwing from in the past, is not going to make our team any better in the present or the future. The Niners are a better team than us right now by a long shot, and y’all wish that Purdy was wearing black and gold, going into next season, and you KNOW it. We might be better served by redirecting the anger to our own front office for mismanaging a multi million dollar enterprise, and serving up more mediocrity, if not irrelevance, for us to have to sit through, again and again.

Don't disagree... still in the latter Montana years, one had to admire Joe's talent and ability to close out games, even though he hurt us countless times in the closing minutes, even if Bobby Hebert was the great choker before the Tony Romos and Dak Prescotts of the world.
