It depends upon the position. Linemen commonly take longer to develop from everything I have read and heard. Especially since the NCAA rules have changed and the offenses have been dumbed down due to lack of allowed player access time. Twenty hours per week ... total! And that includes all gameday activities including lunch and breakfast.

The flag football at the Pro bowl is better than the game. Maybe it's the future.

Yeah, Paul Anderson, the great line coach, has mentioned several times recently how ill-prepared the players are these days coming out of college.

Not sure about Foskey but Turner just needs to get and stay healthy.

Foskey and Turner are interesting unknowns at this point. They may be solid contributors to our pass rush next year, or they may just stay injury busts. Players like them have typically overcome the injury bug after they leave New Orleans.

Well, regarding Foskey ... I (maybe just me) had HIGH hopes of him coming out of a big time college program & making some sort of an impact as a rookie, especially considering he was a relatively high 2nd round draft selection (see Rams 2023 - 3rd rounder Byron Young).

IIRC, Duncan, Mike & Underhill were quite critical of his performaces @ training camp & subsequent pre season games. TBH, he showed a lack of hustle and technique. Struggled a LOT. For where he was drafted, he needs to bring his A game in 2024.

As for Turner, meh. He can't help if he's always injured & under the tent. This is year 3 for the former 1st rounder.

The QBs we face THIS season can all scramble and make those critical throws. If the Saints scouts can't start nailing their higher draft selections, maybe we need better National scouts.

To truly compete, you need more quality starters and pass rushers.

Cam Jordan is at the end of the road & Granderson needs legit help.

Still got to give WTFoskey the benefit of the doubt at this juncture. But he needs to step up bigly.

I agree Smash. Sometimes it takes a little time to become NFL tough. T-Rex is a prime example. I'm definitely expecting Foskey to come out strong in camp and make a good push for the starting gig, or at the very least, he needs to be a heavy rotational player.

Who Knows? Peyton might become NFL tough too if can get his training regime right and stay on the field. I've got to admit that he is pretty darn good when he's on the field.

Tackle

We need two of em. Ramz should most likely retire, Penning is still a HUGE question mark & Peat could sign elsewhere.

Saints have SERIOUS issues on the o line for sure.

Drafting O LINE is probably top priority.
