Salient points.

Once you get to that 99.99999% I’ll gladly throw in what’s needed to seal the deal.

Presently the Saints are valued at +/- $4BN (27th in the league).

Gayle said there is no way she sells the teams before she closes her eyes.

Once you enter the world of business and politics, statements like that are only as good as the last offer.

Just in case no one noticed, the NFL presently has 0 Black principle or majority owners and the fellow wanting to buy would just change that which is a huge reason for the league to use its influence to help get a deal done.

‘Old rich white woman blocks first black NFL owner from becoming reality and achieving his dream’ does not make pretty headlines for anyone.

A lot of it depends on how liquid Mr. Mills is. Buying 16 car dealerships can leave you asset rich but also either heavily leveraged or cash poor.

Don't you worry sinner guy, you are amongst "the few, the proud, the ignored". You are elite. Of course, I still have to see your stupid **** whenever you are "replied" on. But, it's no surprise that it only happens rarely.

Like the league is full of old white lady owners. If the league wants a black owner there are at least 25 old white guys that can give up their team, instead.

Besides, Gayle isn't your average owner in it for generational wealth. She's already the second wealthiest person in the state and has no heirs. Her assets are already set to go NOLA area charities when she dies. Why would she sell the team now for five billion when it can be sold in fifteen to twenty years upon her death for three or four times that amount? She's certainly not hurting for cash.

But do you know where he got them shoes, though?

I’m so in your head, there’s barely any room for the Xanax and Morphine.

I am all for the first black NFL owner getting his shot. But if Gayle doesn't want to sell the Saints, then they can't really make her just because she's rich and white. They would have a hard time selling that.

There was undoubtedly an inquiry and a polite no thank you, but our Saints aren't for sale. Unlike the referees!
