After that, it's anybody's guess as to how our big board lines up. I can't imagine sitting through the 3rd & 4th rounds without a selection. We'll probably use the later round picks to move back into the top 100. I want to concentrate on the big uglies again. I know it's not sexy, but it is absolutely necessary, after so many swing and misses by our FO the past few years. We need starters and depth desperately all along the trenches.

I want to add a FS to groom, LB, slot corner, and WR if at all possible with role players and starters from the draft this year.

Maybe Seat's DUI will cause him to slide down the draft boards. We could pick him up in the middle rounds cheap. If only we had a 3rd & 4th rounder this year. I'm pretty sure that we'll be packaging those later round picks to move up for a player like him that falls in the draft.

And for god's sake don't trade away next years picks for another developmental player!

What are the 1st round grade players this year? There can't be 32. If it's less than 14, Saints should move down and get more picks.

Agreed on ADDING more picks. Copy cat league. Do what the contenders do every single year.

Take the RAVENS for example. It is indeed better to hit on 4 out of 12 vs 2 picks out of 6. THAT is how you continuously replenish your roster with YOUNGER, cheaper talent & maintain cap health.

Saints have a OLD roster & that “win now” philosophy is long gone.
Add more talent so you can truly compete in a couple of years.
