They moved him to the slot, big brother. In my experience, covering from the slot is much harder than covering on the outside. The sideline is a trusted friend and you don’t have that in the slot. Definitely a learning curve.

Thanks for catching that. Although, he might be a pretty good safety with a little practice. He could play free safety because he has the speed necessary and he's a willing tackler. Which leads me to believe that he'd be a good strong safety. Or he could play cover two with the Honey badger. Just sayin'. :wink:

I think he could play free safety with a little time to adjust. He definitely has the speed to cover sideline to sideline. Safety is a bit more mental than corner. And I’d say a little more physical too.
